Following the measures announced by the South African government, we regret to inform you of the temporary closure of all our hospitality departments at Neethlingshof. This includes our Restaurant, our Wine Tasting Centre as well as our Wine Garden. At this stage the temporary closure is effective until 31 March 2020. During this period of time we will continuously assess the situation and keep you up to date through our social media platforms as well as our website.
Although we have no reason to believe that any of our staff have been exposed to anyone infected by the COVID-19 virus, we believe that being pro-active is the responsible thing to do. As a result, we are taking all precautioning health and safety measures to safeguard both visitors as well as our loyal staff. We have been in contact with all tour operators that visited us over the last couple of weeks and can confirm that they are not aware of anyone in their groups being infected or showing any symptoms related to the COVID-19 virus.
We trust that we will soon be up and running again and able to welcome back healthy visitors being hosted by healthy staff. In the mean-time it is important that we do the right things in order to minimise the infection rate in our country.
Rest assured that our wines will continue to be available in stores nationwide. You can also order online through our website – www.neethlingshof.co.za – and we will ship it to you.
We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued support. Together we are stronger and together we will get through these trying times.
Regards and stay safe.
Niel van Deventer Managing Director.
